STUDENTS REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL
The SRC is responsible for promoting the general welfare and interests of all students of the Seminary. The SRC coordinates and publishes all social, cultural, intellectual and recreational activities of students in the Seminary. In addition, it is responsible for establishing links and maintaining cordial relationship with students of other Seminaries and/or Universities as well as other educational and voluntary institutions within and outside Ghana.
The members of the Students Representative Council (SRC) are elected by universal suffrage by the students of the Seminary. The SRC exists as the official organ of the student body of the Seminary and has the right to appeal to the Academic Board and Council on all matters affecting students. It is responsible for:
- Promoting the general welfare and interests of all students of the Seminary;
- Coordinating and publishing all social, cultural, intellectual and recreational activities of students in the Seminary;
- Presenting the views of the students of the Seminary to the appropriate body or bodies depending upon the nature of the matter;
- Establishing links and maintaining cordial relationship with students of other Seminaries and/or Universities as well as other educational and voluntary institutions within and outside Ghana;
- Nominating students’ representatives to serve on appropriate Seminary bodies, committees and ad hoc committees established to probe or manage the affairs of students of the Seminary; and
- Promoting cordial relationships with the alumni of the Seminary;
